Tips from World of Warcraft
Written by thaynn.

Every time you login to “World Of Warcraft” there is a Tip waiting for you to help you out. Some of those tips came very handy in manipulating the settings, and they helped me better familiarize me with the options and modification that can be done for in-game play. Other Tips were basic knowledge that you would pick fast as you go through your first level or two. Some of those Tips are even about Honor points and their usage, or even raid advice. Here is the first ten Tips as a start will add more as a compile a list of helpful ones:

  • Tip: You can target members of your party with the function keys. F1 targets you, F2 targets and second member of your party.
  • Tip: Remember to take all things in moderation (even World of Warcraft)
  • Tip: You can click on a faction in the reputation pane to get additional information and detail about that faction.
  • Tip: A monster with a silver dragon around its portrait is a rare monster with better than average treasure
  • Tip: If you mouse over a chat pane it wll become visible and you can right click for more options.
  • Tip: Sharing an account with someone else can compromise its security
  • Tip: You can display the duration of beneficial spells on you from the interface options menu.
  • Tip: You can lock your action bar so you don’t accidentally move spells. This is done using the interface menu.
  • Tip: You can assign a Hotkey to toggle locking/unlocking your action bar.
  • Tip: You can cast a spell on yourself without deselecting your current target by holding down <ALT> while pressing the Hotkey
